Keeping Tabs on Construction
If you haven't seen it yet, check out Simon Waddington's excellent neighborhood webcam. It's mounted at Tower Lofts, facing 300 Harrison, site of a Signature Properties development. Over at the Fourth Street Lofts blog they got nice photos of the construction at Fourth and Alice. Anyone know what is being built on Second between Oak and Madison? I have no idea, but I would be surprised if it is residential because it is very, very close to the train tracks.
PS. Here is the URL for Harbor View Lofts - as I suspected its 8 stories.
Thanks for the link, blog gently. Another 100 units! I'm surprised at such a large residential development so close to the train tracks; maybe all the homes will be oriented to 2nd Street. Is there going to a market for 500 new homes in this neighborhood by next spring?
